- Honestly, just make this so your house smells like your favorite Italian restaurant. It’s perfect to roast on a Sunday afternoon and eat with a Sunday family dinner.
- Herbs are completely optional. This is perfectly delicious on its own. We prefer to use basil if we have some, but other herbs such as rosemary, oregano or thyme work great, too.
- Make sure to wrap each head of garlic separately in the foil. It helps everything cook evenly.
- You can use this in so many other recipes. We like to use it as a spread for our bread and serve it with a nice Italian dinner. You can also use it for dips, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese – anything you want!
