Ingredients

Pork chops, boneless thin-cut preferred but you can use whatever you have
¼ cup flour
salt
ground black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
6 cloves garlic, minced
Chopped green onion
GARLIC HONEY GLAZE
4 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons warm water
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
This is a quick and easy meal that looks and tastes like you spent hours making it! Honestly, these are so good you should not expect leftovers!

Instructions

1.Season the pork chops with salt and ground black pepper on both sides of the chop.
2.Dredge each pork chop in flour, creating a light coating.
3.Mix all the ingredients in the honey garlic sauce together. Stir to combine well. I use a mason jar and shake it.
4.Heat up a cast-iron skillet on medium-high heat. Add the vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of the butter.
5.Add the pork chops to the skillet and pan fry each side of the pork until the surface turns brown, usually around 2 minutes per side for thin-cut pork chops. If you are using a thicker cut, it will take longer.
6.Remove pork chops and set aside.
7.Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Add garlic and sauté for about 20 seconds or until starts to lightly brown. Add Honey Garlic Sauce to the skillet. Add pork chops back to skillet and let simmer for a minute or so in sauce.
8.Remove pork chops and plate them. Pour remaining sauce over the pork chops and garnish with chopped green onion.
9.Serve with your favorite vegetables or over rice.

Notes

  • This is a quick and easy meal that looks and tastes like you spent hours making it!
  • While thin boneless pork chops work best, you can use any kind you have – just adjust the cooking time!
  • No cast iron skillet – no problem. You can use what you have, but do yourself a favor and invest in cast iron at some point; they are amazing!
  • As I have mentioned in other recipes, my family loves sauce. If you and yours are the same, feel free to double the garlic honey glaze.
  • This glaze, though, is seriously next-level and works perfectly on wings or any kind of chicken.
  • Honestly, these are so good you should not expect leftovers!
