2.Add mayonnaise to the bowl and mix well.
3.Add red wine vinegar, salt and oregano and mix to combine.
4.Taste and add additional mayonnaise, red wine vinegar and seasoning if needed.
5.Refrigerate until ready to serve.
6.Serve with hoagie roll pieces and enjoy!

Notes

  • This tastes exactly like an Italian Hoagie, yes, I say hoagie but you can call it an Italian Sub dip of you want:)
  • Takes less than 15 minutes to make and will be one of your most requested dips.
  • Use as much or as little mayonnaise as you want.
  • I have several non-tomato loving people in my house otherwise I would for sure add some fresh diced tomatoes to this dip!
  • Don’t like onions, leave them off. Love banana peppers add them- this is your dip so use what you like!
  • If making ahead of time do not add the lettuce until you are ready to serve otherwise it will get soggy!
  • Any kind of hoagie/sub roll will do.
  • Make these into mini hoagies!  Just get some mini rolls and stuff them full with the dip mixture.  This is my husbands preferred way to eat this.
