Ingredients

2 ounces vanilla vodka
2 ounces Kahlua or any coffee liqueur
1 ounce espresso
coffee beans for garnish (optional)
Make it to your liking – less vodka, more Kahlua – there is no wrong answer here!

Instructions

1.Add ice to cocktail shaker.
2.Add the vodka, Kahlua and espresso to the cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds.
3.Pour into glass and top with coffee beans (optional).

Notes

  • Make sure your coffee is completely cooled, or your ice will melt! Just pop it into the freezer for a few minutes.
  • Shake, shake, shake! The harder you shake the cocktail shaker, the more foam you’ll get on top of your martini!
  • Pour quickly into your cup. Doing so will ensure the foam ends up on top!
  • If you want it a little sweeter, then add ½ ounce – 1 ounce of simple syrup.
  • Get crazy and mix it up! Use vanilla or salted caramel vodka – trust me, it’s delicious.
  • You can use Baileys if you don’t have Kahlua.
