Ingredients

3 cups cranberry juice
Juice of 1 orange (about ½ cup)
1 ½ ounce can seltzer
1 orange sliced
⅓ cup frozen cranberries
¼ cup packed basil leaves
1 apple, sliced
1 bottle red or white wine
This is a great option for the winter months. Garnishing with fresh cranberries gives it that holiday feel. You can omit the wine if you want to make this a mocktail or substitute cranberries for frozen blueberries or raspberries.

Instructions

1.Combine cranberry juice, orange juice and wine in a large pitcher.
2.Add fruit and stir.
3.Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
4.Add seltzer once you are ready to serve.
5.Pour and serve over ice.

Notes

  • You can definitely omit the wine if you want to make this a mocktail.
  • This is a great option for the winter months. Garnishing with fresh cranberries gives it that holiday feel.
  • I usually make this with red wine, but it is really good with white wine, too.
  • Make sure you wait to add the seltzer to avoid it going flat.
  • If you don’t care for cranberries, you can always substitute them with frozen raspberries or blueberries.
  • Don’t use your good wine! A sweeter wine works best, but don’t break the bank on a bottle that is just going to get mixed with juice!
