- This is a great sipping cocktail, especially on a cold winter night while cozied up by the fire.
- I like to add the juice of half an orange to balance the bitterness of the lemon juice. Feel free to omit if you prefer the lemon.
- I generally make mine with brandy, but either cognac or brandy works great.
- Don’t skip the sugar rim; it really adds a great element to the drink.
- If you plan on making more than a few, it works well to squeeze your lemon juice ahead of time.
