- Popcorn is a favorite in our house, so much so that we have a movie-style popcorn machine in the rec room. My middle basically considers popcorn a food group. Since we have an endless supply, we like to mix it up and make this heavenly caramel popcorn.
- Pay attention when making the caramel. It’s very easy to burn and will leave a bitter taste.
- Use as much or as little salt as you like.
- Wait until it is entirely cooled before breaking it up into pieces.
- Do you need to bake it? Not technically, but it will taste better if you do. Sometimes, we just can’t wait and eat it without baking it…still delicious but not quite as good.
