Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey
1 pound ground pork
4 green onions, chopped
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 – 3 tablespoons Asian sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Slider burger buns
This is by far one of my family’s favorites go-to meals! We grill them as sliders in the summer and make them as meatballs with hoisin sauce in the winter. They make a great appetizer for any BBQ or party.

Instructions

1.In large bowl, combine the ground turkey, ground beef, green ions, ginger, soy sauce, garlic and sesame oil. Add salt to your liking.
2.Form into small slider-sized burgers.
3.Grill burgers to cooked all the way through; cooking times will vary based on your grill.
4.Serve on bun with your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • You can definitely make these ahead of time. Just store it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it. It’s best to take the meat out of the refrigerator and let the burgers get to room temperature before grilling.
  • Ditch the bun and turn them into meatballs! Pair them with my Hibachi Grill Noodles and hoisin sauce.
  • Makes great mini meatballs for an appetizer.
  • We love sesame oil and the flavor it adds to the burgers. – add as much or as little as you like.
  • I like to add some heat sometimes and will add a diced jalapeno to the mixture.
  • Serve topped with my Crunchy Asian Slaw.
